Governor Yates of Illinois

Sir

My Company with a number of thers of the 135th Ill talk of reenlisting for one year under the recent call.

I wish to know if the time can be extended in our case so that we can return home and reorganize Our present term of enlistment will not expire untill the fourteenth of September next

Col. Wolfe and others have requested me to take the Colency of the new organization if it meets with your aprobation
