I have asked of Yates as a personal favor the appointment of the Rev Geo W Woodward of Kane Co to a chaplaincy and if you can do anything to induce him to do so don't fail to do it and charge it to me. I will get even with you before you die if you will help me in this matter. Mr W. is a first class man in evry respect just he man for the place and his whole soul is in this fight He wants to have a hand in it
