Sir I have a son at Rome Georgia wounded he was wounded at Alatona on the 5th of Oct he is in the 7th Ill Infantry is it in your Power to pass me to him as I understand that the authorities are very particular in passing citizens south of Nashville my object in going is to go to Nurse him and others of my neighborhood that were wounded in that Battle and Bring him home as soon as able to come if you will assist me in getting through let me no soon and i will come down if you want any Recommendation to show that it is all Right let me no
