Please order or cause to be ordered, Brimstone Fusphorus and turpentine put into shell with the powder and shot in grate showers among the rebels. Will it not set them on fire and suficate them with smoke? Will it not make a light among them at night, that might that would be an advantage to the union armies?
May the great ruler of the destinies of nations grant you success and make your name precious to all future generations.
