Dear Governor,

Not one word has ever passed between us in regard to your election to the United States Senate. Nor was such a thing necessary. I am sound and ever have been, and I am now anxious to know if there is any chance for you, also what if anything I can do in this, or any other part of the State in your behalf, either in the use of time influences money or anything else. If so let me know without delay. I am for you 1st & last, in time past & yes to come aye through the fogs. even which settle upon & over the surburbs of Hell.

Please communicate with me if necessary in any respect. Let me know what if anything you want me to do in other words put me fully in the premises.

As ever your true friend

W. Bushnell
