Dear Sir

Some Friends of yours

were kind enough to send

me your 4th July oration

which is so good that I

want to have it reprinted

for circulation. The copy

sent being imperfect, please

send a perfect one.

I want to send to you

[illegible] 1200 circulars like the

one enclosed, address and

ready for franks. Will you

frank them for me.

The change of opinion in

turn of negro suffrage is

marvellous, and it is

progressing rapidly at the

West. New England

will I think go solid

for it

Truly Your pal
