Dear Sir

I have got the ball rolling, on a subscription to make up our $10,000.00 I will be ready to report to you about the middle of this month.

We held a meeting & endorsed your Action regarding the Legislature, and something more as you will see.

today our County Council met & I begin a thorough Canvass of the County immediately. We hold out the idea of a loan to the State & want to arrange if possible so that these subscriptions may be returned by an appropriation my regards to Mrs Yates.
