Description

This poster uses the Square Deal to refer to Adlai Stevenson II's legislative agenda should he win the 1952 presidential election by creating connections to President Franklin D. Roosevelt's "New Deal" legislation and President Harry S. Truman's "Fair Deal". President Theodore Roosevelt coined the Square Deal after his 1904 election to the presidency.
