Description
Madeleine Dinges, a Monticello College art student and a finalist in the National Collegiate Sculpture Awards Program, works to chisel a large bust sculpture of United States Senator and Senate Minority Leader, Everett M. Dirksen. Dinges presented the sculpture to Dirksen during the May 1967 graduation at Monticello College, where Dirksen was a commencement speaker.
