Sir Feeling it to be by duty to relieve the suffering of our brave soldiers now in hospitals I desire a situation in one of the hospitals at Cairo Paducah or any point where my services may be needed and not knowing how to proceed to obtain such a situation I have address you for the purpose of obtaining the desired information in regard to it. please let me know by return mail if I can obtain such a situation and if any references are necessary I would refer you to Judge Higbee Strother Griggsby [the?] county clerk or others if desired let me know by return mail and
