The undersigned a Private in Company H 52nd Illinois Vol. wounded at Pittsburg Landing, sent to Cincinnati - Sent from there to my friends here on a 30 days furlough. The furlough expired and being still unfit for service, I procured certificate of my physician & sent to Post Surgeon at Cincinatti, but can get no reply. What am I to do To Whom shall I report and how. I wish to comply with regulations if I can find out what
they are. If I must report to Springfield in person please inform me & send pass, or if by surgeons certificate to whom.
