Dr Sir

I received yours in regard to transportation. Some days Since, But have not had an opportunity of replying until today.

Write to Mr Allen C. Fuller, Springfield Ills State your case & he will Send you the necessary Document to enable you to Join your Regiment & Company.

Harvey was shot through the calf of the leg the other day in A skirmish & howled like A good fellow. (he is not much hurt) Corinth you have of course heard was evacuated by the enemy last week after Burning up an immense Quantity of Stores, Baggage, Waggons, Amunition, &c.
