Govner Yates Dear Sir

I Wright yo a few lines in Regard to Drafting I hav Bin Discharged from the army once But I feel it my duty to in list again But I am not able to cary a musket and I Wish to know if I am lyable to Bee Drafted and if I am I Will Volentier for I dont Want to Bee drafted If I can get Some light office in an Regt I think I can Stand it it is not the office that I am after nor is it the mony But it is for my Beloved Contry that I go I leav a Beloved Wife to morne my loss if I should fall in Batel But if I go it is my in tention to do my duty So long as god spairs my life yo may think me Scaird But I am not I mearly Wright that I may know if I am to Bee drafted so as I can Volentier you air at all acquainted With my uncle and famely William N Beck of Olney Whom dide in december 1860 he Was my uncle But is no mo for he is Beneath the cold grave Sod he Seas non of this truble I hope is in a Beter land Whear their is no War or truble
