I here introduce to you John Halderman Esq a young man of merrit and promise. a practicing lawyer of Scott county Illinois
He is a zealous union man and was and has been verry industrious in raising volunteers in this county and is himself is a volunteer in one of the Scott County companies
Mr Halderman is competent to do any business in the service and any place that you may assign him well he fills properly and diligently
