Dear Sir excuse me for trespassing upon your patience for A moment I wish you would drop me A line and inform me what the result of the Governers letter to washington in my case was as I have not herd A word from the mater since I received your letter writen on the 9 of September Governer Hoffman I am in straitened circumstances on the Acount of my expenses while in the servis and I have nothing to meete them with if you will please drop me A line and give me what information you can I will thankfuly receive it and in return still remain your friend and suporter as usuel Direct to goodhope Mcdonough Cou Ill as I am at home now
