Agreeable to your request I write at this time respecting our Son Richard S Hopkins, who is a Vol. in Co D. 73 Reg, - Was wounded in the left arm at the Battle near Chatinoga has been home on a Furlough which time has expired, he left here on the forth of this month, for the Hospital No 7 at Lewi Ky, We have not heard from him since he left.
