Of the July Term of the Sangamon Circuit Court in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five

State of Illinois Sangamon County SS

The grand jurors chosen selected and sworn in and for the County of Sangamon in the name and by the authority of the people of the State of Illinois whom their oaths present that Jonas Houston, Charles Smith and George W Corc on the eighth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five at the county aforesaid one Bay Horse of the value of fifty dollars of the goods and chattels of one Ebeneser Johnson then and there being found feloniously did steal take cary and ride away contrary to the form of the Statute in such care made and provided and against the peace and dignity of the same people of the State of Illinois.

And the grand jurors aforesaid upon their oaths aforesaid do further present that the said Jonas Houston, Charles Smith and George W Corc on the eighth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five at the County of Sangamon aforesaid one Bay Horse of the value of fifty dollars of the goods and chattels of one Larry Hoskins then and there being found feloniously did steal take cary and ride away contrary to the form of the Statute in such case made and provided and against the peace and dignity of the same people of the State of Illinois Stephen A Douglass States Attorney
