Douglas Register of the Land Office at Springfield Illinois do certify that Bartlett Eads of Tazewell County Illinois on the 3rd day of February A.D. 1836 purchased from the government of the United States of America at this office the Northwest Quarter of Section No Seven in Township No twenty three North of Range No four west of the third principle maridian containing one hundred and forty one acres and fifty five hundredths of an acre all of which appears of Record in this office given this 3rd day of June A.D. 1837
