Richard Yates: Dear Sir I have a son (now 18 yrs and 6 mo of age) who has served as a private in Co A 37th Ill Reg for about eighteen months, and I am exceedingly desirous if it can be accomplished to have him transferred to the Qrmaster or Commissary department of his regiment.
