This is to certify that we the undersigned, practising physicians of the town of Winchester & state of Illinois do hereby certify that we have carefully examined Richard N. Davies a resigned Officer of the U. States Army & do hereby pronounce him free from the disease which occasioned his resignation & that he is now fit & able for military duty.
