your humble Servant takes this method to inquire why the Seventh Regiment cant have furloughs granted to the men who have ben Serving their Country for Eighteen long months having families who nead their presence for a fiew days, yet if furloughs cant be granted to us we will Serve Eightteen months more we Submit to our fate Cherfuley as we ar Stationed her at this place to Garison and all being Quiet before Corinth why not let us visit Our families a fiew days then to return to Our Regiments to perform our several duties as faithful soldiers.
