Dear Sir

This will introduce to you M. M. De [Levis?] Esq (Editor of our local Paper here) who goes to the State Capital for the purpose of consulting you in reference to some monuments of a Military character in our own locality - Consult with him freely & fully - Pana and vicinity is now almost a unit in favor of sustaining the Government & the Union as our Fathers made it. Two weeks ago it was not so. We now wish to present an undivided active, working opposition to all traitors -
