Red wax remains from the places this was sealed when folded. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Man and Wife, in the County of Sangamon,

&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;which happened on the 28th Day of May,
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;in the Year of our Lord One Thousand

&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;died seized of the Lands aforesaid
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Yet her Dower, as the widow of the said
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Samuel Musick in and to said lands has
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;not as yet been set apart to her;

Hurt to her said master or his she shall not do nor suffer it to be done by others if in her power to prevent.  The goods of her said master she shall not embezzle waste or lend without her masters consent, from the service of her said master she shall not absent herself without leave Taverns, alehouses Tipling shops or houses of Ill fame she shall not frequent Matrimony she shall not contract.  But in all things she shall well and faithfully demean herself towards her said master and all his as becomes an obedient faithful apprentice during all her time of service aforesaid.
