They have very little evidence against him at Racine, which here <hr /> we think we have got the "dead wood" on him. He is the same fellow who has been traveling the country collecting money from Postmasters on forged drafts purporting to be drawn by Hon. Jas. Harlan Treas. Congressional Committee, for political purposes. I believe your P. M. at Springfield was taken in by him, that office appears on his memorandum among others, as having paid him $100.
