Dear sir

as I have no other way of gaining the infermation I want I apply to you knowing that you could give it correct. first the name of the capt of company F and whare he enlisted his his men and who is thair Col I have a friend in that comp that I have not heard from since the last battle I wrote to the capt but not knowing his name I presume it never reached him if you will give me the infermation

I disire you may relieve the mind of one who has lost one son in the Army and is anxious to know the fate of other friends and you will confer it lasting faver upon your humble servant Mrs. M. Barnett
