THIS INDENTURE, made the Eleventh day of June in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and thirty one between Reubin Radford and Caroline Radford his wife of the County of Sangamon and State of Illinois of the one part, and Archibald Traler of the county County and State aforesaid of the other part, WINESSETH: that the said Reubin Radford and Caroline Radford his wife for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred Dollars

To them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Archibald Traler his heirs and assigns forever all that certain tract or parcel of Land lying and being in the County of Sangamon and State of Illinois known and described as follows, to wit Lot number one in Block Number twenty lying and being situated on adams stree a corner lot in the town Springfid County and State aforesaid as may be seen reference to the map of said town recorded in the recorders office for said county

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, to him the said the said Archibald Traler heirs and assigns forever the above described premises, together with all and singular the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. And the said Reubin Radford and Caroline do hereby for themselves their heirs, executors and administrators, covenant to and with the said Traler heirs and assigns forever to warrant and defend the title of said land against the claim or claims of all persons claiming or to claim title to the same.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the said Reubin Radford and Caroline his wife have hereunto set their hand and seal this day and year first above written.

Be it remembered that on this 11th day of June [illegible] personally came before Edward Mitchell one of the Justices of the Peace in and for said county Reubin Radford the [illegible] to the foregoing Deed to me personally known, and acknowledged his signature to the same to be his face and voluntary act for the purposes therein [illegible] also came before me Caroline Radford wife of the said Reubin to me also personally known and after being examined separate and apart from his said husband and being by me made acquainted with the content of foregoing Deed acknowledged her signature to the same to be her voluntary act oferd without the threats or coercion of her said husband Given under this Day and Date above written
